Hi, I’m Camille Carter — owner and lead planner of Cherry on Top!

Originally from Los Angeles, I’ve proudly called Chicago home (and truly, the greatest city on earth) for nearly a decade. My journey began in catering and hospitality, inspired by my time studying culinary arts in Dublin, Ireland and attending pastry school right here in Chicago. Those experiences taught me the beauty of creativity, precision, organization, hospitality and care — qualities that now define my approach to wedding planning every single day. 

 

I’ve been part of the wedding industry since I was 17 and have helped hundreds of couples say "I Do!", but it wasn’t until I was planning my own wedding that I discovered how deeply this work resonates with me. As cliche as it sounds, my wedding was the most awe-inspiring day of my life and all I want is to bring that same joy and creativity to the weddings of all my couples.  Helping couples create meaningful, fun-filled celebrations is not just what I do — it’s what I love most. A wedding is a big expense, so I truly believe it should feel as special and authentic as the couple themselves.

This work does feel like my vocation - something meant for me - to inspire, create and dream with couples about a day that will live with them forever. I know there are no boundaries to what we can achieve together and I will be your biggest supporter, cheerleader and shoulder throughout every step of the planning process!
